Gewürztraminer PERELISE

This Gewürztraminer is as delicate and elegant as a piano piece. Therefore, its name was inspired by the famous piano piece “Für Elise” by Beethoven. Deep and complex flavours, beautiful and noble balance between strength and finesse. Rich aromas of ripe apricots, lychee and passion fruit.
 
Tasting notes: Bright lemon yellow, rich flavours of cinnamon and vanilla. Aroma of rose petals, fruity notes of ripe apricots and lychee. A powerful body with surprising finesse and elegance at the palate.
 
Cellaring potential: 3-5 years.
 
Food Combination: A great favourite at parties and aperitifs, it makes an excellent partner for fish dishes as well as Chinese and Thai cuisine. Serve lightly chilled: 10-12° C.
 
Grape Variety: Gewürztraminer
 
Location: Selected vineyards at altitudes of 450-550 metres a.s.l.; gravelly, sandy and rich in mineral soil with calcium carbonate deposits.
 
Yielding: 52 hl/ha
 
Winemaking: After a short maceration in the press, the grapes are gently pressed. The fermentation and the maturing are carried out in stainless steel tanks.
