Its name comes from a cyclops from Basque mythology, from the 'old world', a spiritual world, dreamlike, with which Oxer Wines wants to evoke that small spiritual world which is now lost. Oxer Wines Vineyard
Vineyard of 0.7ha planted in 1920 in the town of Elvillar (Rioja Alavesa) at 600 meters of altitude in the Barranco de San Julián, on very poor calcareous soils with a yield of 3,000 kg per hectare.
Vinification
Alcoholic fermentation with indigenous yeasts in 1,000L French oak vats and in used open 500-liter French oak barrels. It undergoes malolactic fermentation and subsequent aging for 12 months in used 600L Austrian barrels (47ml).
