BARBERA D’ASTI D.O.C.G.

Frasca La Guaragna's Barbera d'Asti is the welcoming introduction to this young Piedmont estate co-founded by Curt Frasca and winemaker Matteo Gerbi, trained at Gaja and Bruno Giacosa. Sourced from 20-year-old Barbera vines across four communes in Nizza Monferrato, Agliano Terme and Moasca, the grapes are softly pressed with extended maceration and aged in stainless steel to preserve every bit of varietal fruit. The result is a deep ruby red with vibrant aromas of black cherry, plum and a lifted violet note. Juicy, medium-bodied and refreshingly acidic on the palate. Pair with pasta, pizza or grilled meats.
