Braitenpuechtorff Riesling

From the Braitenpuechtorff vineyard in Breitenwaida, this organic Riesling from Weingut Ingrid Groiss is grown on white gravel and quartz soils with vines over 30 years old. Hand-harvested with a skin maceration of ten hours, then fermented with vineyard yeasts in stainless steel and aged on full lees until bottling. It shows the cool, mineral side of Weinviertel Riesling: apricot, melon, white blossom and fresh hay on the nose, with a taut, juicy palate, grapefruit acidity and a clean mineral finish. A natural partner for Asian-spiced dishes, fresh seafood and light vegetable preparations. Ingrid Groiss has certified all her wines organic since the 2019 vintage.
