CHÂTEAU HAUT-BLANVILLE - Grande Cuvée Rouge

A structured Languedoc red built for the table. Château Haut-Blanville's Grande Cuvée Rouge blends Syrah, Grenache noir, Mourvèdre and Carignan from the Peyrals limestone plateau at 150 metres altitude within the AOP Languedoc Grès de Montpellier. After manual harvest, the 2017 aged 36 months in neutral barrels, emerging with dark plum, black pepper and earthy spice on the nose, and firm, polished tannins on the palate. Founded in 1997 by Bernard and Béatrice Nivollet and now guided by daughters Charlotte and Margaux, Blanville holds HVE environmental accreditation. A natural match for barbecue and slow-cooked lamb.
