GALILEO – Sangiovese Riserva

Galileo is the Riserva pinnacle of Azienda Agraria Guerrieri, produced only from the best vintages on their estate near Terre Roveresche in northern Marche. Pure Sangiovese from vines yielding just 1.5 kg per plant, harvested late after early thinning. The wine macerates for 15 days before 12 months in large Italian oak barrels and a further 12 months in bottle. Deep ruby with charming intensity, it delivers complex spice, cherry and berry with a long, persistent finish. Best paired with red meat, game and aged cheeses. Serve at 18°C, uncorked well in advance. The exclusive Marche wine Malta importer is Briffa Wine Selections, delivering across the island.
