Guerriero Nero

Guerriero Nero is the everyday red from Azienda Agraria Guerrieri, a sustainable family estate in the Colli Pesaresi DOC of northern Marche, Italy. A blend of Sangiovese, Montepulciano and Cabernet Sauvignon, it shows an intense ruby colour with persistent structure and aromas of violet, vanilla, cacao and spice. Grapes are harvested late and selected by hand before long maceration, controlled fermentation, 10 months in French oak and a further 6 to 8 months in bottle. Pair with red meat and game.
