Kalamity Blanco

Kalamity Blanco is Oxer Bastegieta's most ambitious white wine, drawn from very old vineyards in Rioja Alta and Rioja Alavesa at 600 metres altitude. A field blend of Viura, Calagraño, Torrontés, Malvasía, Maturana Blanca and Garnacha Blanca, it ferments in stainless steel before spending ten months in used 600-litre French oak barrels. The result is a broad, mineral white with citrus and white stone-fruit aromas, vibrant acidity and a long, saline finish. Pair with roasted sea bass, pintxos de bacalao or rich seafood rice. Only 3,100 bottles made. Exclusively imported into Malta by Briffa Wine Selections, with delivery across the island.
