La Veja Nizza D.O.C.G

La Veja is the crown jewel of Frasca La Guaragna, produced only in exceptional vintages from a single vineyard in Agliano Terme where the Barbera vines are over 90 years old. Co-founded by Curt Frasca and Matteo Gerbi, whose training at Gaja and Bruno Giacosa informs every decision in the cellar, this Nizza DOCG is everything old-vine Barbera can be: concentrated and profound, with layers of dark fruit, iron and earth alongside that signature Piedmont acidity. One month minimum maceration with gentle handling, followed by six months in old large oak. A wine to cellar and savour. Exclusively available in Malta through Briffa Wine Selections.
