Les Vents D'Anges

From Domaine du Haut Montlong in Bergerac, South West France, this is the estate's flagship red. A blend of 75% Merlot and 25% Cabernet Franc, harvested by hand from clay and limestone hillsides in the Dordogne valley and aged 12 months in barrel. The result is a wine of genuine distinction: an aromatic nose of ripe dark fruit and spice, a full, structured palate with well-integrated oak and supple tannins. Awarded a Hachette des Vins star and a gold medal at the Paris agricultural show. Drink with roast lamb, game, or a well-aged hard cheese. Haut Montlong is no longer an active import.
