The prestige cuvée from Adega Monte Branco, marking 20 years of winemaking in Estremoz, Alentejo by Luís Louro, son of Miguel Louro of Quinta do Mouro. Alicante Bouschet (75%) from 2017 is fermented in a traditional treading lagar; Trincadeira (25%) from three successive vintages is added in annual batches over four years of ageing in a 2,200-litre foudre. The result is a polished, complex red of aromatic freshness and remarkable youthfulness: fine black fruit, perfectly integrated wood and a very classy finish. Only 3,016 bottles produced.
