Nocturna

Nocturna carries the name of Oxer Bastegieta's very first wine, revived here as a tribute to where it all began. A blend of 70% Tempranillo, Garnacha and Graciano from young Rioja Alavesa vineyards, it ferments with native yeasts and ages twelve months in French oak barrels of 600 and 225 litres. The result is a warm, generous red with dark fruit and gentle spice, shaped by the character of the region rather than by oak. Accessible, honest and food-friendly. Pair with grilled lamb, aged cheeses or a generous plate of pintxos. Exclusively imported into Malta by Briffa Wine Selections, with delivery across the island.
