O Luar Do Sil Godello

The entry-level expression of O Luar do Sil, the white wine label of Pago de los Capellanes. 100% Godello from estate vineyards on granite-dominant slopes in the village of Seadur, in Valdeorras DO, Galicia. Vinified entirely in stainless steel to preserve the crisp, mineral character that makes Godello from this part of Galicia so distinctive. The nose is fresh and aromatic: white peach, pear, citrus blossom and a whisper of slate. On the palate, vibrant acidity and clean fruit give way to a bright, saline finish that calls for the Atlantic coast on a plate: grilled sea bass, clams, or octopus a la gallega.
