Pinot Nero - Colterenzio

An elegant entry into Colterenzio's Pinot Nero range, this wine showcases why Alto Adige is one of Italy's finest regions for the variety. Grown in the cool, altitude-blessed vineyards of South Tyrol by the Schreckbichl cooperative's member families, it shows a bright garnet colour and a nose of morello cherry, blackberry and a subtle floral lift. Ripe, fine-grained tannins with a clean, fruit-forward finish. A versatile red suited to grilled salmon, duck, mushroom risotto and medium-aged cheeses.
