Grown on calcareous conglomerate, marl and gravel soils with vines over 50 years old, the grapes are hand-harvested in late October and fermented with vineyard yeasts in used Austrian oak barrels. Eleven months on full lees build weight and texture without losing freshness. Honey blossom, ripe mango, pineapple and candied clementine zest open to a complex, mineral palate with elegant acidity and genuine ageing potential.
