At Adega Monte Branco we work with traditional grape varieties in a sustainable way to produce wines that are balanced and as authentic as the land they come from. We use portuguese grape varieties that tell the story of our land and at the same time, we explore pioneering varieties in the Alentejo, challenging the traditional ones to produce surprising wines.

We innovate in vineyard management, extracting the maximum potential from each variety and each terroir. The result? Wines with a strong identity and freshness, that show the essence of the place where they grown, that don't follow trends, but define our journey.

Luis Louro - Born and raised in Alentejo, Luís developed a strong bond with the land from a very young age. His passion for the world of wine began at age 8, when his father became a producer at Quinta do Mouro. After earning a degree in Oenology and traveling the world, he decided at the age of 23 to forge his own path — becoming a winemaker himself.
