Based in Pedrosa de Duero, the Rodero Villa family farms 100 per cent Tempranillo (known locally as Tinto Fino) across carefully tended plots, producing wines that balance the region's characteristic power with a refinement and elegance that sets them apart from heavier, more extracted neighbours.

The range begins with the Joven Roble: five months in French oak, fresh blueberry and violet on the nose, fine-grained tannins and a vibrancy that makes it the most approachable bottle in the portfolio. The Crianza steps up to twelve months in oak, adding vanilla and ripe cherry alongside a smoother, more enveloping texture. The Reserva spends eighteen months in new French oak followed by bottle ageing. This is a wine for the cellar or for a serious dinner: dark cherry, mocha, tobacco, and the long, licorice-edged finish that defines the best of Ribera del Duero. At the top of the range, the Doroteo represents the estate's finest selection.
